Rug maker

Jenni believes in sourcing locally and treading lightly on the planet & whilst bringing rag rug making into the twenty-first century, she honours the generations of ordinary people who made rugs out of necessity.

She loves helping people to explore their creativity through such an accessible medium and offers courses at various venues.

As well as demonstrating her techniques (locally) & exhibiting & selling her rugs, Jenni also sells kits, rug making tools and equipment & she welcomes commissions.

Jenni has been recycling textiles and teaching traditional rag rug making techniques since 1986 & is a member of the Creative Breaks Association; Worcestershire Guild/Contemporary Craft; TAFA; Low-Impact Living Initiative and the Heritage Crafts Association.
